AllianceBernstein manages more than 400,000 section 529 college savings accounts. To prompt investors to increase their contribution rates, the company wanted to have the ability to show each investor the status of their account and the projected growth compared to the projected cost of college education.

The Solution:

At Rapid Solutions Group, using our POD and variable data publishing capabilities, we helped develop a personalized college savings illustration kit. Inside the multiple-page, full color booklets are charts showing projections for costs and growth along with charts illustrating the potential results of increasing regular monthly or annual contributions.

The Result:

In just one test run of 25,000 underfunded accounts, the program exceeded expectations in encouraging additional monthly and one-time contributions. In fact, AllianceBernstein realized an ROI that exceeded 100%.
